President Obama is trying to set up better preventative programs to cut down on medicare expenditures. Most major diseases that consumes the medicare budget are preventable.

What do too many Americans do, when President Obama try to preverve Social Security. You Got It. COMPLAIN AND INSULT HIS INTEGRITY.
Its sad that in the 21 Century, that our medical system even have not advance beyond SAWING off peoples Limbs or amputations due to PVD. We can do better. Heaven forbid.

STOP PAYING SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICAL BENEFITS TO WEALTHY AND MIDDLE CLASS OLD PEOPLE WHO CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES JUST FINE. This is a huge “entitlement” that got out of hand, it is supposed to be for poor people to keep them from being homeless etc, not wealthy people!
Security in times of need, not times of plenty for them!
If they get poor, they should then get the benefits, but not til then!
what a waste, irresponsible and depriving the needy the way they are doing it now!

Why? U.S. still the best country in the world, can not have the best of everyone? Social services and free as the Socialists, that the state protects workers, so that among all township enterprises do, to compete with large companies, like the Communists and that also allowed the free market. that being the best that they have the best. Why not?

Consumer Capitalism aka Corporate Plutocracy is unsustainable on a finite planet. Period Case closed, take that to the bank and cash it, take it and pay Yourself a vacation to the surface of the sun.

@nyznicca… If we were in a serious economic depression, yes I would. I mean, its better than cannibalism. Our economy is still good anyway.

Its not that simple. If you, for example, buy a $4000 made in USA laptop instead of a similar piece for $600 made in China, your end product in turn will be much costlier and not able to compete on a global scale.

We need to carve out a niche for ourselves. Let China manufacture small scale items, let India provide back office services. We must maintain our lead in Design. USA has a strong tradition of innovation. Let us tap into that. e.g. iPod. Designed in Cal, made in China

Buy goods made in the U.S.A.
See much better quality of goods made in the U.S.A.

Our recession was made by ourselves by buying goods made in CHINA, INDIA, JAPAN, and KOREA.

American companies should produce goods in the U.S.A. and do your best to make price lower.

    American will do it.

If the economy is bad as how you guys say it is, then we should legalize killing dogs, cats, horses, and etc. as a source of meat. We should also legalize marijuana.

The global crisis was terrible, especially on the US. Although, this was now over 12 months – any while the US isn’t back to the state it was – has definitely improved since this video was created. Hopefully it keeps improving and the US unemployment rate decreases & property prices steadily increase. Feel sorry for all the people with large property loans (or any kind of debt) before the economy crashed.
